From a record breaking 1.2 million tweets on June 4, the June 5 episode of Pangako Sa ’Yo with the hashtag #PSYYnaAngelo smashed records once more as it reached 1.61 million tweets on Twitter at exactly midnight.
Yna always goes back to the town of Talimpao because she is haunted by memories of her family who died in the Talimpao landslide. She also dreams of them. Talimpao is her only link to her family, except for the necklace she was wearing when Tatay Isko found her.
After Yna’s Ate Julieta snatches the necklace from around her neck, Yna goes to the lake of Talimpao because she finds comfort there. This is the place where she still has vague memories of herself as a young girl, swimming with a woman whom she thinks is her mother.
She bumps into a raft where a half-naked guy is lounging. She hides and looks at the handsome guy. Seconds later, she screams when sees the man stand up, open his trousers, ready to pee right where she is. The man slips, bumps his head on the raft and falls into the water.
Yna dives in and saves the man.
Teen King and Queen Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla play the roles of Yna and Angelo. Kathniel fans waited for almost two weeks before their idols appeared in the story. Last night, there was only a sneak peek of Kathyrn as Yna after Amor’s “batas ng isang api” moment.
In the episode, KathNiel fans saw Kathryn crying when Yna’s mean Ate Julieta unleashds her wrath on her because she blames Yna for the food poisoning incident involving her guests. Julieta shoulders the hospital bills of the victims and she takes Yna’s necklace as partial payment to her expenses. She also calls Yna “ampon” and tells her not keep going back to Talimpao because her family is dead.
