Angelo (Daniel Padilla) and his mother Claudia (Angelica Panganiban) keep a close eye on Yna (Kathryn Bernardo) and Eduardo’s (Ian Veneracion) interactions during the feeding program they held at Casa Corazon.
Angelo orders Yna not to leave his side and be his personal assistant for the day, purposively to keep her away from his father.
He secretly read David’s (Diego Loyzaga) text to Yna, asking her to meet him the next day. Thinking the text came from his father, he tries to prevent the meeting by asking Yna to come with him to an island to search for a specific mushroom he supposedly needs.
What Angelo doesn’t know is that Yna rejected meeting David because she organized her father’s surprise birthday party.
Yna agrees to accompany him but only because Angelo promised that they’ll be back before nightfall. When she realizes that Angelo means for them to stay in the island until the next day, she tries to swim her way back into town.
“Kabit ka ng tatay ko!” Angelo finally confronts Yna. He tells her about the time he saw them together, and that she sees David fetching Yna, suspecting that he brings her to the governor’s hiding place.
Yna explains that she goes to the governor because her brother is imprisoned because of the Loteng issue. She took care of his father one time because no one else was there when he was drunk and wanted to kill himself.
Angelo still doesn’t believe that nothing is going on between them, and with that, Yna walks away.
