Hundreds of Girls Audition to be the Next Bea Bianca

Exactly 170 girls lined up to audition for the role of Bea Bianca in the 2015 remake of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” at the center road of ABS-CBN last Saturday, June 6.

The hopefuls were screened based on their looks that would suit the "palaban" Bea Bianca, originally played by Vanessa del Bianco.

A mix of girls with and without acting backgrounds tried out for the role, including Kyra Custodio who is playing a part in the Enrique Gil-Liza Soberano starrer “Just The Way You Are.”

They were trimmed down to 40 after the physical screening test. They were asked to act in front of a panel and from there, only less than 10 were short listed.

There are no announcements if the team behind “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” have found their Bea Bianca yet.

In the original series, Bea Bianca was known to be the girl who came between Yna Macaspac and Angelo Buenavista, now portrayed by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla respectively.
